# Preparations to create an order

Before creating and placing an order to purchase a proxy, make sure to pass the following requirements:

1. Your account has enough funds on the [balance](/balance) to place an order.
2. Check the [list of countries](/country) and find out where the desired type of proxy's available.
3. Check the [rent period](/rent-period) options and find out the number of days that's needed to create an order for the desired type of proxy.
4. For the *MOBILE* type of proxy, additionally check [available mobile operators](/mobile-operator).
5. If you have any applicable [promotional codes (promo codes)](/promo-codes), you can use them for an order.
