Custom settings

In the personal cabinet, you can customly change configurations that are related to personal API keys and access to API from IP addresses.

Change the API key

You can always change your personal API key in the personal cabinet. To do so, you must be logged into the Youproxy account.

To create a new key, click the API section title that's listed in the left menu of your personal cabinet. On the API section page, find the field with your personal key and click the Generate key button:

After you click the Generate key button, new API key's generated.

Change access IP addresses

You can always set access IP addresses that define which IP addresses can access the API. There can be up to three IP addresses that have the access. This is necessary for the security of your requests. If there're no specified access IP addresses, any IP address can reach the API.

To set an access IP address or several, take the following steps:

  1. In the left menu of the personal cabinet, click the API section title.

  2. On the API section page, find the API access field. Fill in the field with a needed IP address. If you need to add more than one IP address, separate them with commas in the field:

  1. After you've added all needed IP addresses, click the Submit button on the right of the field to save the changes.

When the access IP addresses are set, only the listed IP addresses will have access to your API.
